PPI
PPI stands for Pixels Per Inch, which is a measure of the pixel density of a display screen. It is commonly used to describe the clarity and sharpness of a display, particularly on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Pixel density refers to the number of pixels that are packed into a given area of the display. The higher the PPI, the more pixels there are per inch, resulting in a sharper and more detailed image. A lower PPI means that pixels are more spaced out, which can result in a less crisp and clear image.
PPI is determined by both the screen resolution and the physical size of the display. For example, a device with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a screen size of 5 inches will have a PPI of approximately 441. A higher PPI typically indicates a more expensive and higher quality display.
