GPS
GPS
GPS (Global Positioning System) is a network of satellites orbiting the Earth that transmit signals to GPS receivers on the ground. These receivers use the signals to calculate their precise location on the Earth's surface, usually with an accuracy of a few meters or less. GPS technology has become widely used in navigation, mapping, surveying, and other applications, including tracking vehicles and people, guiding drones and other autonomous vehicles, and providing location-based services on mobile devices.
