eSIM

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a small chip that is built into a device such as a smartphone, tablet or smartwatch, and is designed to replace a physical SIM card. Unlike a traditional SIM card, an eSIM is built directly into the device and can be programmed with carrier information over the air. This means that users can switch between carriers without physically swapping out a SIM card.

eSIMs offer several advantages over traditional SIM cards. They can be remotely activated and managed, which means that users can quickly and easily add or remove carriers as needed. eSIMs also eliminate the need for physical SIM cards, which can save space inside devices and make them more resistant to damage.

eSIMs are becoming increasingly popular in the mobile industry, and many major carriers now offer eSIM support for their networks.
